Damascus, SANA-The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced that students are now permitted to resume the registration process for PhD at public universities, in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
According to the decision, a copy of which was obtained by SANA Thursday, the period from December 8, 2024, until the issuance date of this decision will not be counted toward the time limits stipulated by existing laws and regulations.
This measure follows a recent meeting of the Higher Education Council held last Sunday, during which a wide range of strategic decisions were adopted concerning students, as well as academic and technical staff at both public and private universities and technical institutes.
