Education Ministry, UNICEF discuss preparations for public exams

Damascus, SANA-Deputy Minister of Education Mr.Youssef Anan. discussed on Thursday with the Deputy Representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Syria Zeinab Adam and the accompanying delegation, the ministry’s preparations for the general certificate exams and ensuring that its supplies and needs are secured.

During the meeting held at the ministry in Damascus, Anan stressed the importance of prioritizing the current phase to ensure the success of the public exams process, expressing his aspiration to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Education and UNICEF to achieve common goals.

Anan pointed out that the ministry prioritises creating all the basic conditions to ensure the right of students to take exams in a fair and smooth manner.

For her part, Adam explained that UNICEF is committed to supporting the educational process in Syria and will work with the Ministry of Education to implement a comprehensive plan that ensures the provision of necessary supplies and technical and logistical support.
