Damascus, Aug. 31 (SANA) The 63rd Damascus International Fair continued its activities on Monday at Damascus Fairgrounds, drawing large numbers of visitors to its various pavilions.
The large turnout comes amid a diverse range of exhibitors, events and activities, offering visitors an opportunity to explore products, services and displays presented by participating companies and organizations.
Monday’s program features a broad range of economic, scientific, artistic and sporting activities, as well as poetry evenings and vocal performances. The children’s theater is also hosting entertainment and artistic activities, interactive segments and performances by young talents.
The program also includes lectures and panel discussions addressing a variety of topics and issues.
First lady Latifa al-Droubi visits the Fair
On Sunday, First Lady Latifa al-Droubi, visited Damascus International Fair and toured several pavilions to learn about the participating exhibits and activities.
Al-Droubi stopped at the National Innovation and Creation Exhibition at the Ministry of Economy and Industry pavilion, where she viewed a selection of participating up-to-date works.
She also visited the Ministry of Awqaf pavilion and the handicrafts one, where she was briefed on their displays and products.
“Masjidak” app launched
As part of the fair’s activities, the Ministry of Awqaf launched its “Masjidak” ( your mosque ) electronic application.
The fair has also hosted seminars, evening events, artistic and cultural programs, vocal performances and dialogue workshops covering economic, cultural, artistic and educational topics.
The 63rd Damascus International Fair runs through Sept. 4 at Damascus Fairgrounds, with broad participation from Syrian, Arab and international companies and a varied program of seminars, workshops and other activities.
