Education Ministry discusses Cooperation with ‘’save the children ‘’ organization

Damascus, SANA – Syrian Minister of Education Mohammad Abdul Rahman Turko discussed with the Executive Director of the British “Save the Children” organization, Janti Soeripto ways of enhancing educational cooperation.

During the meeting, Minister Turko reviewed the challenges facing the Ministry in meeting the needs of returning refugee students from neighboring countries, and the necessity of providing appropriate educational environments for every student at schools.

The Minister also pointed out the importance of strengthening partnership with “save the Children” organization to support the right of every child in Syria to obtain education.

In turn, Soirepto affirmed the organization’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Ministry of Education and supporting it by all possible means, noting that education is one of the basic pillars of the organization’s work in Syria, and that it is ready to provide support in the areas of educating students from special groups.
