Damascus, SANA–The International “Agritex” Exhibition featured a strong presence from Syrian companies specializing in animal production, with diverse offerings across agricultural and livestock sectors tailored to the needs of local markets and breeders. These contributions aim to develop the livestock sector and boost productivity in support of economic development.
Al-Hassan Trading Group for Feeds and Poultry stood out by offering integrated nutritional solutions through its plant in Aleppo—one of the largest in the country. In partnership with the Dutch company “Wafi,” the group also introduced advanced European feed additives designed to enhance production performance.
Meanwhile, BEE Trading Group showcased cutting-edge equipment for poultry farms, including modern hangars and systems that meet market demands. A company representative emphasized the importance of sharing expertise among companies to enrich the livestock sector with innovations.
Khalouf Makina highlighted its technology in poultry feed production lines and underlined the importance of promoting Syrian-made products and enhancing cooperation between local and international companies.
Similarly, al-Maaref Trading Group and Al-Bukhari Poultry Equipment Manufacturing presented integrated solutions for poultry farming, covering feeding, raising, incubation, storage, and systems for ventilation and heating—all customized to meet breeder needs.
The General Company for Cattle, affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture, showcased a variety of dairy products produced to the highest health and productivity standards. According to its director, Dr. Louay al-Hamouieh, the exhibition offers an important opportunity to boost investment partnerships and expand Syria’s dairy industry.
For its part, the General Poultry Company presented its capabilities in designing and operating specialized poultry production facilities across Syria. Its director, Dr. Fadel Haj Hashem, noted the company’s comprehensive infrastructure, including hatcheries, feed lines, slaughterhouses, and modern transport systems.
The exhibition, which continues through tomorrow, hosts 142 companies from Syria and abroad and serves as a key platform for showcasing the latest agricultural equipment and innovations in both plant and animal production.
