Damascus, Oct. 1 (SANA) The Food Syria 360 exhibition opened Thursday at Damascus Exhibition City, with 120 Syrian, Arab and international companies from 18 countries participating.
The three-day event runs through Oct. 3 and is organised by Evex Event Management LLC, which has offices in Damascus and Dubai, according to the exhibition’s website.
SANA’s reporter reported that exhibitors are showcasing precision agriculture technologies, irrigation systems, seeds, food processing machinery, packaging equipment and finished food products.
The exhibition brings together Syrian producers, regional distributors, international suppliers and investors to explore business opportunities across the food industry.
According to its website, the event covers food, beverages, hospitality supplies, food technology and logistics. Its programme also includes a conference with nine thematic streams focused on food security, innovation and investment.
Other planned activities include a gastronomy zone featuring Syrian and international cuisine, alongside a hosted buyers programme and business matchmaking sessions designed to connect exhibitors with potential customers.
