Damascus, July 23 (SANA) CEO of the Syrian Petroleum Company, Youssef Qablawi, discussed with a delegation of the World Bank the current state of Syria’s oil sector and available investment opportunities, as part of efforts to strengthen ties with international institutions and attract investment to the energy sector.
The company stated on its Telegram channel on Thursday that the meeting addressed the status of onshore and offshore projects, pipelines, and refineries, in addition to existing partnerships with local and international companies, and opportunities for their development.
The World Bank is one of the leading international financial institutions concerned with supporting development and reducing poverty.
