Damascus, July 1 (SANA) Exhibitors at the 12th Syria Specialized Exhibitions 2026 said modern industrial equipment and advanced production technologies are expected to support the recovery of Syria’s manufacturing sector, improve productivity and create new investment opportunities.

The exhibition, being held at the Damascus Fairgrounds, brings together around 450 companies showcasing industrial machinery, energy equipment, construction technologies and manufacturing solutions aimed at supporting industrial development and reconstruction.

Mohammad al-Mawsali, director of a participating local company, told SANA that his company is displaying energy equipment, power generators, construction machinery and heavy equipment designed to serve the industrial, healthcare, tourism and real estate sectors.

He said the exhibition provides an opportunity to strengthen ties with investors and customers while exploring new business opportunities in the Syrian market, adding that growing interest in industrial projects is creating favorable conditions for new economic partnerships.

Firas Shoumal, director of a company specializing in industrial equipment, said his firm supplies integrated production lines for the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries, along with installation, commissioning, maintenance and spare parts services to improve production efficiency and operational continuity.

Ibrahim Hassan, representing a company specializing in industrial equipment, said the company is showcasing advanced machinery and production lines that support automation, improve product quality and increase manufacturing efficiency while contributing to reconstruction projects.

Mohammad Hammoud said his company’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting the recovery of Syria’s industrial sector through storage systems and integrated industrial solutions tailored to the needs of the Syrian and regional markets.

The exhibition, which opened on Tuesday, runs through July 3 and is open daily from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
