Damascus, June 30 (SANA)    The Syria Specialised Exhibitions 2026 series kicked off Tuesday at the Damascus Fairgrounds, with participation of around 450 local, Arab, and international companies.

The events are organized by Tayara for International Exhibitions and Conferences, under the patronage of the Ministries of Economy and Industry and Public Works and Housing, and the Syrian Chambers of Commerce Union. They were attended by Public Works and Housing Minister Mustafa Abdul Razzaq, Transport Minister Yarub Badr, and representatives of Arab and foreign embassies.

The series, running until July 3, includes the Syrian International Exhibition for Construction, Building and Infrastructure (TECHNO BUILD), the Energy, Electricity and Industrial Automation Exhibition (SYRIA ENERGY), and Syria Industrial Expo (SINEX).

Minister of Public Works and Housing Mustafa Abdul Razzaq said in a press statement that the significance of the 2026 exhibition series lies in its integration of the construction, industrial and energy sectors, making it a specialized economic platform to strengthen cooperation and partnerships across multiple industries.

Muwaffaq Tayara, Director-General of Tayara Exhibitions and Conferences Group, said the participation of international, regional and local companies demonstrates the continued interest of foreign firms in the Syrian market.

The exhibitions are open daily from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Free shuttle transportation is available from al-Baramkeh, opposite the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) headquarters, and from the al-Zablatani intersection in Damascus to the Damascus Fairgrounds, with round-trip service provided.
