Damascus, June 22 (SANA) Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry for Industrial Affairs Bassel Abdul Hannan met with a delegation from Türkiye’s Isra Holding Company to discuss cooperation in developing and rehabilitating the Bab al-Hawa Industrial City in Idlib province.
The ministry said Monday on its Telegram channel that the meeting, held at the General Directorate of Industry in Damascus, reviewed opportunities to upgrade industrial facilities and services at the industrial city.
The two sides also discussed mechanisms to support production, attract investment and create a more favorable environment for industrial and development projects in line with current economic needs.
Bab al-Hawa Industrial City is one of the leading industrial centers in northern Idlib and has attracted growing interest from investors in the food-processing and light-industries sectors amid efforts to create jobs and support the local economy.
