Cairo, May.3 (SANA) Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani and Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal al-Shaar met with a number of Syrian businessmen in Egypt.
The meeting discussed challenges facing investment in Syria and the opportunities available, with emphasis placed on the important role of Syrian businessmen in supporting the national economy and contributing to reconstruction projects and job creation.
The two ministers stressed the importance of enhancing engagement with Syrian business communities abroad and encouraging their contribution to economic development efforts in Syria.
The meeting forms part of broader efforts to activate cooperation with Syrian business leaders and expand their role in investment, reconstruction and economic recovery.
