Damascus, April 22 (SANA) Syrian Economy and Industry Minister Nidal al-Shaar met on Wednesday with U.N. Deputy Special Envoy for Syria Claudio Cordone to discuss ways to strengthen economic cooperation and expand support for Syria’s productive sectors.
The talks focused on improving coordination with international organizations to support economic recovery, enhance the business and investment environment, and develop joint programs aligned with national priorities.
The meeting is part of government efforts to expand engagement with international partners and increase technical and development support for key sectors.
Al-Shaar also met on Tuesday with Norwegian Ambassador to Damascus Hilde Haraldstad to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
