Tashkent, Feb. 13 (SANA) – A Syrian economic delegation, headed by Chairman of the Syrian Chambers of Commerce Alaa al-Ali and Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Mohammad Yassin Houria, visited Bukhara, Uzbekistan, on Friday to review the operations of the “Mirgantex” cotton and textile complex.

The delegation also visited “Bukhara Agrocluster DZZ LLC”, a modern food and agricultural facility established with a $6 million investment over 2.6 hectares, with a daily milk processing capacity of 60 tons. They reviewed the facility’s operations, including its soil analysis laboratory aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity, and examined planned projects to expand agricultural and food production in the region.

The visit, which began on February 11, forms part of Syria’s ongoing efforts to strengthen economic cooperation with Uzbekistan and explore investment opportunities in key sectors.
