Damascus, Aug. 16 (SANA) Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani discussed in a phone call on Sunday recent regional developments and their implications for the Arab region with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to expand cooperation between Syria and Qatar, with a focus on strengthening joint Arab action.
They also stressed the importance of intensifying consultations and coordination across various fields in support of Syria’s reconstruction and early recovery efforts.
On July 4, Minister al-Shaibani met Sheikh Mohammed in Doha, when the two officials discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation across various sectors.
