Damascus, Feb. 6 (SANA) Syria’s Minister of Economy and Industry, Nidal al-Shaar, issued a decision on Friday establishing the Syrian side of the Syrian-Saudi Business Council, as part of efforts to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Council will be chaired by Haytham Subhi Joud, with Rifai Hammadi as CEO, Samer Montaser Qalaaji as Deputy CEO, Nasser Youssef as COO, and Antoine Nasri as Private Sector Coordinator.
This step comes as a continuation of the joint investment forum held in Damascus last year, which resulted in 47 agreements and MoUs worth $6 billion, paving the way for a strategic partnership to strengthen economic and investment ties.
