Davos, Jan. 25 (SANA) The Chairwoman of the Board of Turkey’s Limak Holding, Ebru Özdemir, said Sunday the group is ready to participate in Syria’s reconstruction phase.

In remarks to Turkey’s Anadolu Agency, Özdemir said that Turkish and U.S. investors could cooperate in Syria’s reconstruction efforts. She also noted a demand for cement in the country and pointed out that Limak operates cement plants near the Syrian border.

Speaking on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Özdemir added that the Limak Group operates in infrastructure development, including airports, roads, and energy facilities.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has previously reiterated his country’s willingness to stand by Syria in the reconstruction phase.

Limak Holding is a major Turkish conglomerate with core interests in construction, energy, cement, and tourism. Its subsidiaries include Limak Cement, Limak Energy, and Limak Tourism Group.
