Damascus, Jan.21 (SANA) Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal al-Shaar met on Wednesday with Turkish Ambassador to Syria Nuh Yilmaz to discuss ways of boosting economic cooperation between the two countries, with a focus on expanding direct investments and establishing joint production partnerships in priority sectors.
During the meeting, Minister al-Shaar stressed that the current stage requires practical executive steps to support productive capital and open the door for the private sector in both countries to engage in joint projects that contribute to economic recovery and job creation.
For his part, Ambassador Yilmaz expressed his country’s interest in strengthening its investment presence in the Syrian market, affirming the importance of continued coordination to achieve mutual benefit and economic stability.
