Finance Minister: Damascus Int’l Fair Repositions Syria on the Global Trade Map

Finance Minister: Damascus Int'l Fair Repositions Syria on the Global Trade Map

Damascus, SANA – Finance Minister Mohamed Yisr Barnieh affirmed that the 62nd Damascus International Fair has restored Syria’s luster and built bridges between it and the world, noting its importance in strengthening ties between the Syrian business, trade, and industry sector and the trade and industry sector abroad.

Minister Barnieh stated that the Damascus International Fair represents a significant milestone in repositioning Syria on the international trade map, emphasizing that Syria is on the right path to regain its role and standing not only regionally but also globally.

He said in a statement to SANA that the Damascus International Fair today reflects Syria’s commitment to development and to being part of the region’s stability, noting the remarkable Arab and foreign attendance and participation at the fair.
