Doha, Oct. 22 (SANA) Qutaiba Kadish, director of the International Cooperation Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, met on Thursday with Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s humanitarian funds, in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The meeting focused on ways to expand Syria’s participation in initiatives and programs implemented by the humanitarian funds and explore opportunities to support humanitarian and development efforts, as well as the country’s recovery and reconstruction priorities.
The two sides also discussed strengthening institutional coordination and developing communication channels with the funds to broaden cooperation and make use of available opportunities to address Syria’s development needs.
