9 August، 2025

Damascus, SANA-The “MOTOREX Expo 2025” concluded its activities at the Damascus Fairgrounds, recording remarkable attendance and significant success in deal volume and visitor numbers. Daily transactions exceeded 200 deals, while the number of visitors over its five days ranged between 30,000 and 40,000.

Dr. Mohammad Orfali, organizer of the exhibition, told SANA’s reporter that the large turnout exceeded the expectations of organizers and participants. The expo gave visitors the opportunity to meet directly with company representatives, explore the latest car models, compare specifications, and learn about purchasing and installment options, with specialized companies available to inspect vehicles before purchase.

He said that the participants included Syrian companies as well as international ones, including Syrian businessmen coming from Dubai.

Orfali pointed out that the economic blockade on Syria was the main reason many agencies refrained from participating in economic events. He added that the improvement in conditions and the opening of the market contributed to attracting more companies.

“MOTOREX Expo 2025 5” comes as part of efforts to boost Syria’s economic and commercial presence, open new horizons for investors and those interested in the automotive sector, align with the path of reconstruction and development, and affirm the Syrian market’s ability to attract specialized events that stimulate economic activity and support national production.
