Qatamin confirms the follow-up of issues related to the transport sector with Syria

Amman, SANA-Jordanian Minister of Transport Dr. Nidal Qatamin affirmed Sunday the Ministry’s keenness to follow up on various issues concerned with the transport sector of the Syrian side.

Minister Al-Qatamin, during his meeting with the Jordanian ambassador to Syria, Sufian Qudah, discussed ways to facilitate transportation from Jordan through Syria, in addition to discussing the challenges facing Jordanian trucks and exploring possible solutions to address them, The Jordanian Al-Mamlaka TV website reported.

The Jordanian Minister highlighted the importance of removing obstacles to the flow of goods and trucks with Syria, as this would support trade activity and enhance economic exchange between the two countries.

Minister Al-Qatamin clarified that efforts that are being made to enhance cooperation with Syria in this sector positively impact the national economy and contribute to achieving flexibility in regional land transport, particularly with neighboring countries.
