Damascus, SANA- Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs Dr. Ali Haidar said on Monday that next months will witness an increase in local reconciliations and remarkable achievements on this track in parallel with the victories gained by the Syrian Arab Army against terrorism.
During a meeting with Ambassador of South Africa in Damascus Shaun Byneveldt, Haidar said that Aleppo’s victory opened ways for political settlement based on Syrian- Syrian dialogue away from interests or foreign interventions, adding that the Turkish side still violates the UN charter by attacking Syrian territories and supporting the terrorists.
The State Minister also pointed out to the principled positions of the states of BRICS group, particularly South Africa on the crisis in Syria.
He revealed that a project for the return of the displaced people to Sbinah and al-Hajira towns in the southern of Damascus countryside will start during the upcoming days.
In turn, Byneveldt expressed the commitment of his country to stand by Syria in combating terrorism and find a political solution to the crisis in the country by national dialogue in addition to offering the necessary support to Syrian people.
