Two plants and leather industry exhibitions held on the sidelines of Syria Mod exhibition

Beirut, SANA – An exhibition for ornamental plants and cut flowers and another one for leather industry were held on the sidelines of Syria Mod exhibition for textile industries and clothing taking place in Beirut with the participation of over 100 Syrian companies.

In a press statement, Chairman of the Agriculture Committee of the Syrian Exporters Federation Eyad Mohammad said that exhibits include a wide variety of Damascus rose, seeds, craft flowers and aroma and medical herbs, noting that the federation supports these Syrian products and works to promote them and find new markets for them.

About the leather industry exhibition, Samir al-Shami, the Chairman of the Chemical and Leather Industries at the Federation said the participation in Mod exhibition came in the framework of preparations with the aim to reach new markets such as Russia, especially in light of the customs and trade exchange facilitations discussed recently between Syria and Russia.

Syria Mod exhibition for textile industries and clothing was opened yesterday at Beirut International Exhibition and Leisure Center (BIEL).
