Syria, Iran to boost cooperation in religious, therapeutic tourism

Damascus, SANA – Minister of Tourism Bishr al-Yazigi discussed on Monday with Iranian Economic Consultant at the Iranian Embassy in Damascus Ali al-Kazimi means of bolstering cooperation in the tourism sector, particularly religious tourism.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the need for reaching a joint formula to have consolidated communications among the Syrian and Iranian tourist institutions and activate tourist services.

They also expressed keenness on establishing affairs and commercial activities between the two countries, exchanging delegations of students, scholarships and holding therapeutic tourism between the two sides.
