Food and bread packages distributed among displaced people from Yarmouk Camp

Damascus, SANA – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and the General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR), with support from the Syrian government and the Higher Committee for Relief, continued distributing aid among displaced people from Yarmouk Camp who fled it in fear of terrorists.

Director General of GAPAR Ali Mustafa told SANA that UNRWA and GAPAR distributed a total of 1,000 food packages and 1,200 bread packages among people from Yarmouk Camp who are currently staying in the areas of Yelda, Bebila, and Beit Sahm.

Mustafa said that the total of food packages distributed to the people of Yarmouk Camp since January 2014 has reached 65,882 packages, in addition to 11,718 health packages, adding that aid and health services are being provided at Zainab al-Hilaliye center in al-Tadamon area.
