Lattakia, SANA-A civilian was killed in an explosion of a landmine left behind by the former regime in the eastern Lattakia countryside.
“A young man was killed, and his brother was injured, today when a landmine left behind by the former regime exploded in the village of Ain al-Ashra in the eastern Lattakia countryside.” The Civil Defense stated on its Telegram channel.
The Civil Defense noted that its teams transported the body and provided first aid to the young man at the Bdama Center in the western Idleb countryside.
The Civil Defense noted that remnants of war and mines continue to threaten the lives of civilians, causing serious injuries, undermining agricultural and economic activities, and hindering the return of displaced persons to their homes in large areas of Syria.
