After fall of criminal regime More than 1,000 Syrians withdraw asylum applications in Cyprus

Nicosia, SANA- More than 1,000 Syrian citizens have withdrawn their applications for asylum or international protection because they intend to return to their homeland, while another 500 have already gone back, after fall of the criminal regime, a Cypriot official said Friday.

These developments come in the wake of the fall of the defunct regime where more than a thousand Syrians have withdrawn their applications for asylum or international protection because they want to return to their country”Associated Press quoted Cyprus’ Deputy Minister for Migration and International Protection Nicholas Ioannides after talks with European Migration and Home Affairs Commissioner Magnus Brunner
