Muscat, SANA- The Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman, Qais bin Muhammed al-Yousef, discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Muscat, Dr. Idris Maya, the existing economic cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries.
Both sides discussed the importance of upgrading these relations to the level of the distinguished political one and ways contributing to achieve this goal.
Al-Yousef stressed the importance of exploiting opportunities and capabilities available in the two countries to enhance their economic relations and exchange experiences in the domains of common interest.
Al-Yousef gave a brief presentation on the “Invest in Oman” platform, which provides all services and facilities to anyone wishing to invest in the Sultanate.
Ambassador Mia also discussed with the Director General of the National Museum of Oman, Dr. Jamal al-Musawi, the existing cooperation relations binding the two brotherly countries in the field of restoration and preservation of the Syrian heritage.
