Amman, SANA – Four Syrians, who were displaced by terrorist groups’ crimes, died after a fire broke out in a caravan at al-Za’atari camp North of Jordan.
A number of Syrians who were displaced by terrorist groups’ crimes in Syria died in similar incidents at al-Za’atari camp which lacks the simplest requirements and human life conditions.
“A fire broke out at dawn in three contiguous caravans and caused the death of a four-member family”, Brigadier General Fareed al-Shara’a, spokesman for Jordanian civil defence told AFP, noting that the father, the mother and their two children died of third degree burns.
He added that three other persons suffered breath difficulties and indicated that gas leak had caused the fire.
It is described by displaced people and observers as a huge prison in addition to the deterioration of psychological conditions of its residents that resulted from exploitation and siege forced by Jordanian authorities on the camp.
