Syrians in Hungary participate in solidarity stand with Russia in Budapest

Budapest, SANA- The National Union of Syrian Students in Hungary, members of “For Syria Forum” and Hungarian civil society organizations participated in a solidarity stand in front of the Russian Embassy in Budapest, Hungary’s capital and largest city.

The stand came to welcome Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, who was visiting Hungary on Tuesday.

The participants waved the Russian, Syrian and Hungarian flags to express their welcome of the Russian President and his entourage, and their thanks to the Russian leadership’s tireless efforts and continuous work to preserve international peace, particularly in Syria and Ukraine.

President Putin was in Hungary on Tuesday upon the invitation of Hungarian government to discuss international and joint cooperation issues.
