Army reasserts control over sixteen villages and farms in Hasaka countryside

Hasaka, SANA- Units of the Army and Armed Forces established full control over sixteen villages and farms in the eastern countryside of Hasaka, killing large number of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorists.

SANA reporter in the province said that units of the Army carried out a large-scale operation against ISIS terrorists in the southern countryside of Qamishli, establishing control over al-Zaraza, Shamasa, Tal Mohamed, al-Tiben, Khaled, Howedka, Akoula villages and nine other farms in the area.

The reporter added that the operations resulted in the death of a large number of ISIS members, the injury of others and the destruction of some of their vehicles.
