Kosacheov: EU stance towards residential election in Syria a clear intervention in its domestic affairs

Moscow, SANA- Deputy Speaker of the Russian Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev, said on Thursday that the EU stance towards presidential election run in Syria wednesday represents a clear interference in the domestic affairs of the country.

“Any evaluations which come from the EU now after the election process in Syria are null as the EU had evaluated the election even before it was held,” Kosachev told Sputnik in an interview.

He added that such stance adopted by the EU is considered as an unacceptable intervention in the domestic affairs of Syria during a very crucial stage.
