Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 158 new coronavirus infections were recorded in the country and 134 patients have recovered while 12 have passed away.
In statement to SANA, the Ministry said that the total number of infections recorded till now has reached up to 20713, of which 14469 have recovered and 1414 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case registered in Syria was reported on March 22 , 2020 for a person who came from abroad and the first fatality was on 29th of the same month.
