Syrian students in Slovakia renew standing by homeland in its war against terrorism

Bratislava, SANA-Syrian students studying in Slovakia have reaffirmed their standing by their homeland in its war against international terrorism and their participation in the reconstruction process.

During a regular meeting held by the branch of the National Union of Syrian Students (NUSS) in Slovakia on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Syrian Arab Student Day, the students denounced the unilateral coercive economic measures imposed on Syria, calling on the European Union member states to lift them.

The students also expressed pride in the National Union of Syrian Students which conveys their hopes and aspirations and takes care of their issues.

For his part, Dr. Ali Asaad, Head of the National Union of Syrian Students branch in Slovakia, stressed that this important occasion enhances the determination of Syrian students today to pursue their scientific attainment.
