Health Ministry: 73 new coronavirus cases registered, 86 cases recover, 4 pass away

Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 73 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria while 86 patients infected with the virus have recovered, but 4 others have passed away.

The Ministry said in a statement that the total number of Coronavirus cases in the country reached 16,401, of which 10885 cases have recovered and 1,094 passed away.

The first Coronavirus case registered in Syria was reported on March 22nd, 2020 and the first mortality from the virus was recorded one week later.
