Sweida, SANA – Dahre al-Jabel, located to the west of Sweida city, is considered as a tourist resort area because as it is famous for charming mountain nature and fresh pure air which made it significant to investors where the number of tourist projects reached to 18. 
Head of Sweida Tourist Department, Yarab al-Arbeed told SANA that the projects included restaurants, resorts and hotels distributed to 9 projects at the service, six large licensed tourism projects are under the implementation in addition to 3 tourist projects are under the license.
He noted that the projects will provide great job opportunities to citizens.
Al-Arbeed pointed out that Ayn al-Marj area in Dahre al-Jabel ,has been adopted to be an integrated tourism development are and work is underway to secure the services and suitable infrastructures for being an important region which included several tourist facilities with specifications and high investment costs.
The tourist director said that the region of Dahre al-Jabil rises from the sea level between 1,200 and 1,800 meter which is rich with antiquities, some of which dating back to 4thousand years BC.
