Alouk station in Hasaka countryside goes out of service in attacks of Turkish occupation

Hasaka, SANA – Water pumping has stopped in Alouk Station in Hasaka countryside and went out of service after it had been re-run at the end of last week in attacks on high voltage lines which feed the station by mercenaries of Turkish occupation in addition to extra loads.

Director General of Hasaka Water Company, Mahmoud Ukla, told SANA reporter that pumping water from Alouk water station is currently out of service because of blackout of  the power line which feeds it as a result of excessive consumption  by Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries from terrorists, causing an increase in the breakdown of the line.

He called on all  sides concerned to intervene and prevent any breach on  voltage lines which feeds the station, particularly since there are neighborhoods without drinking water for the 16th consecutive day.

Ukla pointed out that the maintenance work of high voltage lines feeding the station hasn’t t stopped throughout the past period, but the mercenaries of occupation repeated the attacks on the power line and illegally drew from the electricity allocated to operate the pumping station.

Turkish occupation forces positioned in the occupied Ras al-Ain city, deliberately cut off water from Alouk pumping station repeatedly and threaten the lives of about one million citizens who live  in  Hasaka city ,its vicinity  ,and  western countryside of the governorate, especially the project is their only source of drinking water.
