Damascus, SANA – The Information Ministry on Saturday held its first online virtual training workshop on the media coverage of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
25 journalists from public and private media establishments participated in the online workshop, which included a conference with Information Minister Imad Sara who talked about the role of media in raising awareness and shedding light on the needs of citizens.
The three sessions of the workshops featured lectures by Assistant Director of the Contagious and Terminal Diseases Department at the Health Miinistry Dr. Atef al-Tawil and head of the Radio and TV Department at Damascus University’s Faculty of Information Dr. Arabi al-Masri.
