All sports activities suspended until end of Holy month of Ramadan

Damascus, SANA- The General Sports Federation announced that all sports activities would be suspended from March 14^th till the end of the Holy month of Ramadan.

The Federation’s decision came for health reasons which aim at guaranteeing the safety of the athletes and the technical cadres in all provinces.

FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have agreed to postpone the Asian World Cup qualifying matches in March and June due to the coronavirus outbreak till further notice.
