Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet on Sunday approved the recommendations of the First National Conference for Housing which cover preparing plots for construction, funding methods, institutional framework, housing legislation, the role of the private sector, and regional planning.
During a weekly session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, the Cabinet formed a committee to follow up on the housing strategy and realize its goals.
The Cabinet approved the executive mechanism of the e-payment project which is one of the main components of the e-government system.
The Cabinet also continued discussing the final draft of the new investment law, in addition to a bill that allows sedans and microbuses registered as personal vehicles to transport passengers via a smart app.
