Amman, SANA – Syria’s under-15 football team qualified for the finals of the West Asian Football Federation Championship (WAFF) U15 Boys Championship currently being held in Jordan after ranking first in Group A.
Syria ranks first in Group A with 4 points after defeating Lebanon 1-0 and tying with Bahrain 1-1, coming up on top due to Fair Play standards as Bahrain also ended up with 4 points after defeating Lebanon 1-0.
The Syrian team will face the top teams from Groups B and C to determine the top three spots in the championship.
