Damascus, SANA_ Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem on Sunday received United Nations Special Envoy to Syria Geir Pedersen and his accompanying delegation.

Al-Mallem and Pedersen  reviewed the ongoing efforts to achieve progress in the political track for solving the crisis in Syria and completing the consultations related to the political process, including the committee to discuss the constitution.

Minister al-Moallem also listened to a presentation by the Special Envoy on the activities he made since his last visit to Damascus last month.
