Syria participates in Asian Parliamentary Assembly’s meetings in Pakistan

Islamabad, SANA- A delegation of the Syrian People’s Assembly’ members participated in meeting of the Standing Committee on Political Affairs at the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) held in Gwadar city in Balochistan, southwest of Pakistan.

During the meeting, Head of the Syrian delegation, MP Atef al-Zaibaq indicated to the attacks and violations committed by the Israeli occupation against Syrian citizens in the occupied Syrian Golan who are adhered to their national identity and who reject all the decisions of the occupation.

On Monday evening the Syrian delegation participated in a meeting of the APA during which MP al-Zaibaq underlined the importance of the decisions and recommendations taken to meet the ambitions of the Asian peoples in establishing a unified and strong Asian parliament that would contribute to enhancing cooperation through consultations among the Asian parliaments.

About 100 parliamentarians from 28 state are participating in the APA meeting which is hosted by Senate of Pakistan on Oct. 29-31.
