Damascus, SANA- 1387 teachers from different Syrian provinces will participate in the tests of the 1^st stage of the fourth Syrian Science Olympiad for Teachers which kicked off on Saturday.

The tests of the Olympiad include the scientific subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics and Biology.

Winners of the first five positions in each scientific subject will be qualified for the final stage of the competitions scheduled to be held in February 24^th in Damascus.

The fourth Syrian Science Olympiad for Teachers is organized by the Syrian Commission for Excellence and Innovation, in cooperation and coordination with the Education Ministry and the Syrian universities.
