257 students qualified for finals of Syrian Scientific Olympiad

Damascus, SANA-257 10th grade students qualified for the finals of Syrian Scientific Olympiad in the subjects of math, physics, chemistry, IT, and natural sciences.

Head of the National Commission for the Syrian Science Olympiad Imad al-Azab told SANA on Monday that the qualified students will take theoretical and practical training sessions within the universities and scientific research centers in preparation for the final tests scheduled for mid-January.

Next summer, a number of international Olympiads are scheduled to be held, including the mathematics Olympiad in Romania, physics in Portugal, chemistry in Czech, informatics in Japan and biology in Iran.
