Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet discussed in its weekly session chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis on Tuesday the stages of the “Syria after the Crisis” program which is based on building institutions, enhancing integrity, developing infrastructure, and supporting growth, development, and dialogue.
The Cabinet also discussed a bill on establishing an Administrative Development Directorate in each ministry as part of the national administrative reform project, which will be tasked with regulating administrative work, simplifying its procedures, and reducing its costs.
The Cabinet discussed a bill to amend some articles of the co-op housing legislative decree, in addition to calling on ministries to provide all that is needed to increase work in industrial zones and cities due to their importance in promoting development, achieving self-sufficiency, reducing imports, and expanding exports.
The Cabinet tasked the Economy and Foreign Trade and Finance Ministries and the Central Bank of Syria to enhance the role of the SME Loan Risk Guarantee Establishment, and tasked all relevant ministries and establishments to address the issues related to free zones, in addition to tasking the Local Administration and Environment Ministry to implement a mechanism for improving the general outlook of city centers and address the visual pollution in public and private buildings.
