Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to rise to become from 5 to 8 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southeastern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badiya desert areas.
The wind will be changeable to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 36/17, Daraa 33/16, Homs 35/17, Lattakia 29/20, Aleppo 33/17 and Deir Ezzor 39/22.
