Continuing to send weapons to Ukraine could lead to a world war, says Fico

Bratislava, SANA- Fueling the war in Ukraine by the European Union under the dictation of the United States is madness, stressed Former Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

In a televised interview published on his website, Fico warned that that continuing to send weapons to Ukraine could lead to igniting a world war.

Fico, who is also Leader of the Smer-Social Democracy party, added that in case his party wins early parliamentary elections that will take place this year and forms a government, it will stop sending any kind of weapons from Slovakia to Ukraine.

He noted that his country does not want to get involved in any war, especially against Russia.
