Damascus, SANA- Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed Tuesday deepest gratitude and appreciation to all brotherly and friendly countries and international organizations for their sincere condolences and sympathy following the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted Mar Elias Church in Al-Douweila, Damascus.
The Ministry said in a statement: “these noble stances expressed by the governments and peoples of the world reflect the depth of the spirit of human solidarity and commitment to shared values, and enhance confidence in the principles of international cooperation in times of ordeals.”
“The Syrian Arab Republic reaffirms that such criminal acts will not deter it from moving forward in defending its territorial integrity and the security of its people, and cracking down all those behind these cowardly acts” the statement concluded.
