Damascus, Aug. 19 (SANA) Director of the Consular Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mohammed Yaqub al-Omar, held talks with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of India in Damascus, Renu Yadav, on ways to facilitate visa issuance procedures, particularly for investors.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed avenues for enhancing consular cooperation, exchanging expertise, and developing coordination in a manner that serves the interests of citizens in both countries.
On July 16, Director General of the Syrian Investment Authority, Talal al-Hilali, discussed with the Indian Chargé d’Affaires prospects for boosting economic and investment cooperation, widening partnership opportunities, and supporting investment flows between Syria and India.
